Sippin' on Beer & Juice

With so much drama in the LBC, it's kinda hard bein Coco double C, But I, somehow, someway, I keep comin up with this witty-ish, like every single day.

Being in the LBC this past weekend, awakened my inner Snoop Dogg. Some actually go through life never fully experiencing their inner Snoop Doggy Dogg. It is a sad world out there...

Even though I didn't have the usual mind on my money or money on mind, and while I wasn't quite rollin down the street smoking indo, I definitely laid back and had some beer & juice.

Okay, first of all, not to sound ignorant but who thought Long Beach was actually SUPES cute. I mean, Belmont Shore area... my husband practically had to cut me off by the 6th boutique. The poor ladies at Elison Rd. and Laurenly had to put together back their store after I tried on 8 tops, 5 dresses, 4 rompers and proceeded to ask for their opinion after every option. Sorry bout it...

Okay, but really what is a Sunday Funday without booze? We ditched the cute Belmont Shore area and headed to Downtown Long Beach. The REAL LBC.

Every year I volunteer for Stone's Anniversary event as they are V generous donors for the YMCA of San Diego County. Two years ago I poured for Beachwood Brewery. The guys were insanely fun so I knew I had to get up to there. It only took about a year and half but hey! good things come to those who wait.

The BBQ.... Wait for it....

SUPES LADY LIKE. I know, I am a catch. But hands down some of the best ribs. EVER. (Uncle Craig & Uncle Eric, don't worry. Yours are still #1.)

So I am going to give you a little insight to my beer tasting life, because sooner or later my friends are going to sell me out. Most of the time I order a flight, only like one and end up drinking a whole 4 ounces and give the rest to Andrew. Call me a poser, IDGAF. However, this time around I ended up liking most of the beer. My fav was the Coconudder, a Milk Stout with Coconut with the second being Jean-Quad Van Damme a Belgian Style Quadrupel. But let's be real, I really appreciated this brewery for all of their punny beer names.

So I sipped on my beer... but I was ready for some juice. Luckily, Beachwood has ANOTHER tasting room just around the corner from their brewery that brews up some killer Lambic style beers. So what's a girl to do...

Take a selfie OBVI. OH! I mean, walk around the corner to the Blendery and try their Lambics! While having a photo shoot on the way as well as in the actual brewery itself. Careful With That Fruit Salad, Eugene was hands down one of the best beers my precious palate has ever tasted. Not to mention, I was absolutely obsessed with their geometric wall. Now when you rollin' down the street in the LBC, go have some Beer & Juice. IT'S LIT.

Till next time, my friends. I promise one of these days, I will actually post about San Diego.
