Kinda Classy, Kinda Hood

SUPPPPP WOORRRLLLDDD. K this girl has been busy AF. I know this might sound crazy but this blog isn't my full time job. And to be honest, right now in my job is CRAYTOWN. Raisin' that paper ain't as easy as it seems, nah mean?! ;-)

With that being said, let me tell you a bit about one of my favorite places to get the weekend straight CRACKIN'. As millennial, it is engrained in my culture to obvi love 90's music and dance completely inappropriate (sorry, family). There is something about Ghost Town Dj's My Boo that can instantly put me in a good mood or Ginuwine's Pony... Oh hell I am already moving my hips writing this.

So what's a Coco to do after a long week? Well every other Friday night she gets her running man on at El Camino in Little Italy with some of the best DJ's in town. The DJ's that make up the group Hickies and Dryhumps (yes, that is what it's called) can literally keep me out all night doing the tootsie roll, butterfly and rolling my body in ways that my grandmother would not be proud of. Or would she? Because my moves are DA BOMB.

Follow them on Insta to get the 411: Hickies and Dryhumps (Jason Waterfalls, Saul Q, Julz Dela Peña) & El Camino

I love El Camino because it reminds me of a few bars in the Bay Area where you can be a classy lady but also get yo freak on and not feel bad about it. Plus it never hurts to bring out my inner Jenny from the block look. Muy caliente!

El Camino has awesome food so you might also find me there on a Taco Tuesday throwing back a Paloma or Michelada and eating an insane amount of chips with their 4 different salsa/sauces. TO DIE FOR. Alright, who's with me this Friday?! Heard it's going to be PHAT! (Christie, I know you are down!)

Insider tip: Get there early like before 10 pm or you will be in line FOREVER. You're welcome.
